1) Data We Collect

We may collect basic account information such as username, phone number, profile details, and account identifiers. We may also collect technical information such as device type, IP address, app version, crash logs, and usage logs.

2) How We Use Data

We use data to operate the service, manage accounts, provide app features, improve performance, maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, moderate content, and provide technical support.

3) App Permissions and User-Selected Content

The app may request permissions such as microphone, media file access, notifications, camera, or storage when needed for specific features such as voice rooms, messages, user-selected uploads, profile content, or notifications. We use these permissions only to provide the feature the user chooses to use.

4) Messages, Rooms, and Public Content

Yoka Chat may include messages, voice rooms, images, usernames, profile content, and interactions between users. Content that users post or send may be processed, reviewed, removed, or restricted when needed for safety, support, moderation, or legal compliance.

5) Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Limited data may be shared with trusted service providers, hosting providers, payment or infrastructure partners, safety and moderation tools, or authorities when required by applicable law or necessary to protect users and the service.

6) Data Protection

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse, or unlawful destruction. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to reduce risks and protect users.

7) Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain data only for as long as necessary to operate the service, protect users, prevent fraud and abuse, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Users may request account and data deletion through the account deletion page: ${publicUrls.api}/legal/account-deletion

8) Virtual Coins and In-App Rewards

Yoka Chat may include virtual coins, points, or gifts used only inside the app. We may process limited data related to these items, such as balances, reward history, gifting activity, and in-app usage history, to operate features, prevent fraud, protect accounts, and provide support.

9) Child Safety Standards and CSAE Policy

Yoka Chat explicitly prohibits Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking of minors, sexualization of minors, attempts to contact minors for sexual purposes, or any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. Users must not create, upload, share, request, promote, or facilitate CSAE or CSAM in any form.

10) In-App Reporting and User Feedback

Yoka Chat provides in-app reporting and support channels that allow users to report accounts, content, rooms, messages, or behavior that may involve child safety concerns, abuse, exploitation, harassment, fraud, or other policy violations. Reports are reviewed by the moderation and support team, and urgent child safety concerns are prioritized.

11) CSAM Handling, Enforcement, and Removal

When Yoka Chat obtains actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE-related activity, we take appropriate action in accordance with our safety standards and applicable laws. This may include removing content, restricting features, suspending or terminating accounts, preserving relevant evidence where legally appropriate, and preventing repeat abuse.

12) Child Safety Law Compliance and Contact

Yoka Chat complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations. Confirmed or suspected CSAM may be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional authority when required by law. Google Play or safety organizations may contact Yoka Chat through the app support channel or the developer contact information listed on Google Play for child safety notifications and enforcement follow-up.

13) User Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data through available support channels. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.

14) Privacy Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy when features, legal requirements, safety procedures, or service operations change. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated revision date.

15) Contact and Support

For questions related to privacy, account deletion, safety, or reports, contact us through the support channels inside the app, by email at yoka.app1@gmail.com, or through the developer contact information shown on the app page on Google Play.
